Sullivan Holderbach is a French American multidisciplinary artist, of Chinese heritage, committed to exploring the multifaceted creative approaches to healing and self-expression. He holds a BA in Drama and Theatre Arts from the University of Birmingham (UoB) and a MASc in Creative Health from the University College London (UCL).

Sullivan considers himself a 'third culture' polyglot, having lived in France, Japan, Brazil, Belgium and England while speaking English, French and Portuguese fluently. His culturally international identity is often represented through his art, as illustrated in the multilingual lyrics and uncategorical musical arrangements of Gringo Gaijin.

After periods of extremely poor mental health and treatment followed by trauma, Sullivan's interest towards the arts shifted. Having realized the crucial role of creative embodied practices in his healing, he has since committed himself to discovering, consolidating and refining creative approaches to healing through art and research. He believes that as people, we are too comfortably nudged into operating within socially conforming restrictive parameters, often at the cost of self expression, emotional rumination, physical action, etc. By reclaiming agency over our bodies and taking time to experience ourselves, we can begin to explore the breadth of the human experience by interacting with the self, others, animals, creative mediums, and much more.
